Only two Nike Flyknit Racer styles have officially released so far: one in Volt, the other in Total Orange.
The shoes mark the first production use of the Swoosh‘s new “Flyknit” manufacturing technique which weaves together a fully knitted one-piece upper, seamlessly. The implications are far and wide: vast reduction in material waste, lighter weight shoes, more customization options, potential manufacturing to new countries including back in the US, and profit margin expansion with all the overhead and inherent savings.
Here’s a look at couple new Flyknit Racer colorways spinning off Red and Grey. $150 retail each.
