Maverick Carter took to Twitter to give us the first look at this year’s China edition Bron shoe, showing a similar spin to last year’s “Blue Flame” China LeBron 9.
Mav didn’t tell the full story, though. That’s our job. This Nike LeBron X isn’t just “Jade.” It’s actually “Cutting Jade” (not the South African band, you guys). This is the 10th year of LeBron’s signature Swoosh line and the LeBron X chips off a diamond-inspired design motif. Diamonds are used to cut jade. Get it?
There’s also alternate graphics (see: tongue) on the LeBron X “Cutting Jade” model from the standard in-line versions. Full release details and info to come. Nice socks, King.
