Here’s a few more detailed shots of the Nike Flywire-infused Converse MVP hitting retail now. Looking like the Beijing Bird’s Nest, the shoe’s outer foam shell wraps the upper while Flywire suspends the toe box. All-Star branding on the tongue and lateral heel, and a huge Star Chevron plastered on the sides finishes things off.

via Sole Movement
I love the concept, hate the finished product, it just looks sloppy, with the fuse-line separating the sole/heel-cup, and uppers.
It is becoming very clear that Nike bought Converse, in order to eliminate the competition. They are doing a great job at destroying that brand.
Why…why…why?
terrible.
I like their new All Star Legends 10 times better than these.
This is not a bad start, but I heard the new CEO Jim Calhoun Jr. is killing basketball.
I don’t think these are too bad of a look. It’s just shitty that everything has to be flywire this flywire that…..Wish I could wear test a pair.
