Here’s more details to the Nike LeBron X “Cutting Jade” story we published earlier today.
The exact color description on this special “China edition” LeBron X is Tourmaline/University Red/Black. Tourmaline is the designated color name representing the Jade mineral shaded upper on the shoes. (Diamonds cut jade.)
LeBron X “Cutting Jade” is currently slated to retailers as a late October or early November launch. There will be at least a $180 standard version and potentially a LeBron X+ style too [UPDATE: we've been told the Nike Plus version of this style has been scraped] (the souped up $300-ish Cutting Jade X was offered to retail buyers months ago, anyways).
Lastly, just because this edition was built with China in mind doesn’t mean the US consumer will be left out. Nike LeBron X “Cutting Jade” is expected to be a limited edition release stateside, much like the LeBron 9 China “Blue Flame” was last year (think Foot Locker’s House of Hoops accounts and select independent shops). But we’ll keep you updated on specific distribution as a finalized launch approaches.

Nowhere near as nice as last years China colorway but that is expected. The Blue Flame color is a hard one to top. These are still very nice in their own right. I can’t wait to get my hands on numerous pairs of the Lebron X!
LeBron James is super NBA player, active star. But this model LeBron is high price which many kicks fans can not take them on http://www.igotshoes.eu/.
I like the sound of “Cutting Jade,” considering all the sharp lines and shapes in the upper, as well as the Swoosh. Always had a thing for aqua, teal, turquoise, or cyan colors, even before the whole SB craze, so I’m somewhat interested in these. Just have to wait and see…
Shoe is okay but definitely not worth the $315 they are asking for (olympic gold edition). The shoe is predominantly plastic and nylon with no real leather or anything. I just don’t see how the price is justified for such a mediocre looking shoe. That’s just me though.
