The shoes know. Jordan Brand knows. Bo knows. We consumers have no idea, yet. New details have emerged today of the Air Jordan 9 “Crawfish” that popped out of the water yesterday.

Aside from the embroidered tag “Crawfish which appears behind the tongue, the front tongue label which normally reads “AIR JORDAN” has been replaced on this new model with the name “BENTLEY ELLIS” in gold. The stitched in jersey number situated below the shoe’s international flavored heel “Globe” logo remains a constant with Michael Jordan’s “23″ though. So is Bentley Ellis an alternate alter ego to MJ’s Johnny Kilroy disguise? An arch villain? Another shoe with a fabricated storyline to sell more product? We’ll have to wait for the release to come out from the shadows a bit more before we can tell.
