Just a few days after this Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” profile shot appeared, a host of angles are now in circulation. There are the original style lacelocks we were talking about last time. Don’t forget the speckled cement shoe box that is scheduled for this early 2013 release.
So how does it look? Pretty decent in comparison to the 2000 retro of this colorway. The translucent outsole portions are imbued with the icy blue touch Jordan Brand has been keen on of late to stave off yellowing. Though a flash pic would tell us one way or the other, the reflective material on the tongue doesn’t appear to be the super bright 3M Scotchlite that captivated sneaker aficionados back in 1990. Other than that, you’re getting the AJ V in White/Black-Fire Red next year.
