It’s because Li-Ning doesn’t have the rights to show official NBA-gear.
I like it, finally a commercial exploit that’s pushing some individuality, this used to be common in the 80s/90s, everybody tried to be individual, now it often seems everybody’s trying to ‘fit-in’.
If i remember a Certain Michael Jordan once said what’s wrong with being different when all of the nba was wearing converse he chose nike

@ Alfonso, great point, but just to set the record straight Jordan’s first choice for endorsements was Adidas, not Nike. Adidas didn’t think he was suitable (I suspect the executive who made that assessment is probably not around the company these days, lol) and he signed with Nike
