Nike LeBron X “Ring Ceremony” Cut Just For LeBron’s Size 16 Feet Tonight

To mark LeBron James and the Miami Heat’s 2011-2012 NBA Championship, Nike Basketball created a custom pair of “Ring Ceremony” themed LeBron Xs for opening night.

The gold and red kicks with a white midsole base and under-paneling displays two medial side graphics to reinforce the motif: The left shoe graphic reads “CHAMP” with the numbers “16-7″ towards the bottom which is the Heat’s final playoffs game record last season (it takes 16 post season victories to win a chip). The right shoe graphic reads “MVP” and the number of points LeBron racked up in the playoffs. Nike says the font chosen for these panels “mimics traditional ring inscription.”

June 21, 2012 is when LeBron and the Heat last played an in-season game that mattered at AmericanAirlines Arena. They do so again tonight to tip off the new NBA season against the Boston Celtics.

If you want to wear the LeBron X “Ring Ceremony” shoe, you’ll have to be a shoe size 16 and raid the King’s locker room after the game tonight. Pairs were only made for him.

Damn, Nike is real happy that LeBron finally got one, ‘eh?! Geez…diamond themed three hundred dollar shoes…after taxes, I’d hate to see what they’d have in store if he’d happen to break a record or two.
