NBA Kicks: Jeff, It’s Gotta Be The Anny XIs

Jeff Green’s trying to work it out. Coming off heart surgery and the missed 2011-12 season it necessitated, the 5th year forward has averaged a career low 8.3 points and 3.3 boards as he tries to settle back into the Celtics’ rotation.

But, in the words of Marv Albert, he’s showing some signs lately. More aggressive play, better execution, and dunking over Al Jefferson indicate Green is revving up.

He’s even amping his sneaker selection. Green ditched the black and green Air 1/2 Cents he’s been in for the Jordan XI “25th Anniversary” last night in Brooklyn. He managed just 5 points but knocked in a huge three late in the game to put Boston in winning position. The Nets prevailed anyway, 102-97, but Jeff’s confidence is rebounding nicely. Gotta be the shoes?

NBA Kicks recap for Thursday night ahead, including those white 11s, Stackhouse in his Filas again, LeBron unearthing “Carbon” in Denver, Melo in M8 “Advance” to keep NYK undefeated, and more…

I wish Converse would just send Udonis Haslem some MVPs while he is waiting for a new sneaker contract from another company. How much longer can his Sicks hold up?

He loves those Sicks so I can imagine he has at least a few pairs in reserve.

Once those go, we might never see Cons on an NBA court again. Really sad.

Stack ROCKING those FILA’s 8-)

Those Nuggets Alt. uni’s are smooth.

Converse shouldn’t be such an obvious ‘budget-brand’, bring back the JUICE, and allow them to make STREETBALL shoes, that way they won’t compete with Nike, but they WILL have an actual identity, because the way they’re designing right now, is just sad.
