NBA Kicks: TP Stays Brave At The Buzzer & Other Storylines In Progress


The season just started and storylines abounding already. All involving shoes, of course, since they’re kind of a game requirement.

Pick your poison: Tony Parker clinging to his Nike Zoom Brave IVs another season and busting OKC with a game winner last night, James Harden expoding in his Rockets debut for 37, 6, 12, 4 and 1 in Hypergamer Lows, Blake Griffin cranking the brand-jumping rumor mill by wearing Jordan Super.Flys against Memphis, Damian Lillard and his 773s auditioning for “Next Derrick Rose-level point guard” as he joined The Big O and Zeke as the only players to record at least 20 points and 10 assists (23 and 11) in an NBA debut, and the Hypergamer Low instantly becoming Nash’s, Lin’s, Maynor’s, Iguodala’s and Harden’s 2012-13 shoe of choice. Not to mention Nate becoming the de facto NBA Air Jordan sneaker champ with Gerald Green trying to claim that crown solely with Concords.

So, yeah, interesting.

James Harden is proven his critics wrong, seriously wrong, amazing start of the season.

CP3.VI should be on NikeiD(awesome shoes, very specific colorways on the GR’s though).
