Derrick Rose, adidas D Rose 3
As you’re all well aware, the NBA Kicks story of Tuesday night was Russell Westbrook’s debut of Air Jordan XX8. RW’s slashing style was the perfect vehicle to introduce the latest Jordan signature, as his 25 points and OKC’s 117-111 win demonstrated. His teammate Kevin Durant paired a pair of navy KD Vs to OKC’s alternate road uni’s, while Brooklyn’s Joe Johnson brought back Air Jordan 2012 as a kind of passing of the torch from last year’s flagship shoe to this year’s. As Russ likes to say on Twitter, why not?
Other kicks action saw Michael Beasley unearthing some Stealth XXs for a match in Memphis with the Grizz, LeBron with black and red Xs in D.C., Earl Clark digging deep for Nike Zoom Soldier IVs, and Paul George giving up his Kobe VIIs for Hyperdunk 2012.
You’ll see these and other kicks, including Derrick Rose getting in some rehab workout time pre-game in Rose 3 “Brendas.”
The height of the shroud just seems pointless on the XX8. Might as well go the normal height, if its not going to mean much wearing it that high.
