Marcin Gortat may be a sneakerhead but you’d never know it from the unassuming Nike Basketball models he wears on the regular. No Jordans, Barkleys or anything signature from this guy.

But the Suns center must have decided to take a little footwear risk yesterday, choosing the Nike Shox BB4 “Volt” for his squad’s match with Orlando. He contributed a solid 12 and 6 but the Suns lost 98-90 to push their losing streak to seven games.

It’s got to be tough playing for a terrible team in the midst of a sizable losing streak. Perhaps the Volts were just Marcin’s way of looking on the bright side of things.
