Quiet and reserved, Jeff Teague might not strike you as being one of the biggest sneaker collectors in the league. But he is.
As a former Nike athlete, the Atlanta point guard’s collection has consisted of many popular models one could expect from an alliance with the Swoosh. However, shortly into the 2012-13 NBA season, Teague’s Nike contract ended and that’s when his future with adidas began.
Teague had never set foot in an adidas product up to that point but he seems to have found a home with the brand, spending plenty of time in the adizero Crazy Light Low after a stint in the D Rose 3 “Brenda”, which he debuted on an NBA court.
CounterKicks caught up with Jeff Teague recently to talk about his switch to adidas and the journey to refill his sneaker collection.

very honest interview… don’t understand why adidas would trip on hm wearing Rose’s, somebody has to wear them on court.
Great interview, I thought it was great to see the Rose 3 on the court a couple of times.
Jeez…so it’s Adidas who was stopping the exposure of the Rose 3? When hs rehab program would clearly out him in the 3.5 anyway, when he’s back? What in blazes were they thinking? Smh
Why did he have to give his shoes away? Couldn’t he just put them on ice and break em out when he is done playing hoops? SMH
