On a plush red carpet rimmed end-to-end with haute couture, one of the last things you’d expect to see at the Academy Awards is assembled fabric from an athletic apparel maker.
Washington-born and bred Sean Fine did just that, though, on his way to an Oscars win for best documentary short for “Inocente”.
Fine sported the highly popular adidas RGIII socks in a “No Pressure No Diamonds” theme, giving his formal outfit a splash of Washington Redskins color.
