Here’s the Li-Ning Way of Wade “All-Star” edition that Dwyane Wade used to put up 21 points, 3 boards, 7 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks in the 2013 NBA All-Star Game.
The $250 purple shoe enjoyed an exclusive limited edition sneaker run at Li-Ning’s pop-up retail spot in Houston. Li-Ning only sold them during All-Star Weekend so if you missed out, you missed out. No do-overs.

It’s a good looking shoe in my opinion, but these companies and those exorbitant prices, can kiss my butt.
They needs to quit teasing us stateside customers and release the Way of Wades more widely here or make them available to order on their site. As a fan of purple and this shoe in general, these are sick! Love the colorway, details, and packaging on this one.
I was at the event Saturday – the shoe almost sold out. Granted, ther were only about 30 pairs available, but stillfor this brand to almost sell out at $250 a pair is unbelievable. The shoe is nice in person – materials and quality are top. But the word of mouth was very low. General relase pairs will be $150, I was told.
If a 250 nike shoe or air jordan is too much, how much more would a new unproven brand asking 250 would make consumers feep?
