We don’t get too much Li-Ning here in the States. Sure, our familiarity with the brand is at an all time high thanks to Dwyane Wade and his very anticipated Way of Wades, but there’s a whole world of L-N shoes we’ve yet to discover.
The Li-Ning Annihilate is one of the inhabitants of that world called China. Vented upper, trussed midsole, patent toe, even a tongue tag with missiles launching. We’re missing out on variety like this.

That is one aggressive looking shoe. My only issue with Li Ning, is that their logo does nothing for me. Somewhat like the Reebok Vector, Li Ning’s calling card just isn’t that visually appealing, especially with a side panel placement.
Yeah, I see MEDE means about the logo. There’s the challenge of trying to fit it into the design without making it look forced. I personally think it’d look more subtle around the heel or as a smaller logo in the forefoot, like UA’s Prototype II. The shoe has such an agressive aesthetic, that it should speak for itself. I especially love that tooling!
And in referring to the article, Li-Ning should consider expanding their retail horizons to the states! There’s a good amount of people eager to get your product.
I dont mind the logo.
The only reason why your not feeling it is because its Li Ning and at the moment.. that brand holds no sentimental value.
If the logo was that important than Adidas would be killing em… cause 3 stripes definitely works better with every adidas shoe design…. more so than Nike.
the logo does nothing for you’does it the swoosh??i have a pair of lining and also some peaks and well….very sad if you only look for a logo…they are great shoes although they are not adidas or your idealized and beloved nikes
