Today’s NBA Kicks recap find Kenyon Martin seemingly fitting in as many shoes as he can as he plays out his second 10-day contract with the Knicks with no assurance of another. His last two-shoe game was five days ago against OKC when he wore AJ 9 “Fontay Montanas” and Jordan Spiz’ike “Knicks” edition. Last night’s two-shoe game saw Kenyon choose the KD V and Hyperdunk 2011 Low for 3 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal in 18 minutes off the bench in NY’s 92-63 loss at Golden State.
The KD V has increased in popularity with NBA players over the last few weeks, and that trend continued last night beyond Oakland to Phoenix swingman Shannon Brown’s feet with the BHM colorway and to Detroit big Greg Monroe’s feet with some Pistons iDs.
Of course there were the usual Jordans on the usual Jordan-wearing suspects. Dray Blatche mismatching a little with the Chicago X, Gerald Wallace in AJ 13 “Home”, and Kawhi Leonard in AJ 3 Retro ’88s.
Also look for Steph Curry in LeBron X “Warriors” and Melo back from injury in Melo M9s as you page through.
