Jordan Crawford is one of the league’s top Air Jordan retro guys. Earlier this season as the Wash Wiz’s resident gunner, JC could often be seen carrying the team’s scoring load in Cool Grey XIs, with random switch-ups into white XI Lows.
He debuted for the Celtics on February 22nd wearing plain old black and white Nike Hyperfuse 2012s, probably in the interest of keeping a low profile as the new guy. There was no way he left his J’s in D.C., though. No way.
Sure enough Jordan is back to his Air Jordan ways, breaking out Light Graphite/Chartreuse XIVs last night in Philly for 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal in 16 minutes off the bench. Just what Boston brought him in to do. C’s win, 109-101.
You’ll remember the Graphites from Fall 2005, when they essentially kicked off the XIV retro cycle and set the stage for the first retro release of the Last Shots that December.
