Kobe Bean edged past Wilt Chamberlain for the NBA All-Time Scoring list’s number four spot Saturday, putting up 19 points, 9 rebounds, 14 assists and 2 steals to anchor L.A.’s 103-98 road win over the Kings. As of this moment he sits at 31,434 points, just 874 from eclipsing Michael Jordan at 3, and 6,954 from wresting the number 1 spot away from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. To do that he’ll have to maintain his current production about three and a half more seasons, and would be well past his 38th birthday during his 21st NBA campaign. Can he get there? More importantly, is Nike making Kobe 12 System for him?

NBA Kicks weekend recap ahead including Kobe’s black, purple and yellow 8s, Melo going back to the M8 Advance for some reason, Lillard in red and black Rose 3.5s, and plenty more gems…
