Lance Stephenson turned a Knicks must-win into a Pacers must-see, scoring a career 25 points to go with 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal as Indiana moved on to the East Finals with 106-99 win Saturday night. Stephenson wore a pair of pair of black and yellow AND1 Tai Chi for the performance, giving the sneaker brand its best exposure since Vince Carter wore a white and red pair of the Tai Chi during his near-mythic 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest win. But the night wasn’t host to a one man show. The other four Pacers starters also registered double figure scoring, led by Paul George’s 23 and rounded out by 21 and 12 from Roy Hibbert, 17 from David West, and 12 from recently concussed George Hill.

The Knicks played from behind most of the game until a flurry of threes by Iman Shumpert, Chris Copeland, and J.R. Smith turned the game into a horserace. Then Indiana turned up its defense and Stephenson flipped on his inner mini LeBron with aggressive drives to the basket. Carmelo Anthony led with 39 points in his Melo M8 Advance “Aways” while Shumpert added 19 in orange adidas Top Ten 2000s, and Smith with 15 and 10 in Nike LeBron X PS Elite “Knicks.”
