Chris Paul and the Clippers reminded Dwight Howard that Los Angeles definitely ain’t his city anymore with a 137-118 blowout win Monday night.
CP3 was again tip-top, scoring 23 points, grabbing three rebounds, dishing out 17 assists, and nabbing three steals in his white, blue and red Jordan CP3.VII. He got plenty of help though from his Clippers teammates, six of whom turned in double figure scoring. J.J. Redick continued to flourish in Doc Rivers’ system with 26 points while super sub Jamal Crawford added 21 off the bench with six three-pointers.
D12 managed 13 points and nine rebounds for Houston, who got quiet input from James Harden (15 points) and Chandler Parsons (14 points).
The two Western Conference titans will meet up again this Saturday in Houston.
