Though O.J. Mayo’s brief run in Milwaukee hasn’t translated into much success (the Bucks are currently 2-10, 2nd worst record in the NBA), he’s at least free to enjoy the silver lining of using this season to test different sneakers like the Nike Zoom Hyperrev.
Seems O.J. has decided to take a break from the Zoom Hyperdisruptor with the Hyperrev, an upcoming basketball shoe that Nike calls “natural motion lightweight performance.” Its Roshe Run-esque simplicity is highlighted by a proprioceptive (fancy for “works well with you”) ankle strap, Dynamic Flywire, and a Phylite midsole stuffed with full-length Zoom Air.
Sounds like a balling machine.
The Bucks lost the last couple games O.J. has worn the Hyperrev but that’s not an indictment of the shoe in any way. The Bucks just suck.
Let’s make O.J. feel better about that by admiring his black and red kicks, along with the rest of the kicks roundup from Friday and Saturday…
