Paul George hadn’t strayed from his Pacers-coded Nike Hyperdunk 2013s and Kobe 8s this season until last night against visiting Houston, when he broke out the Jordan CP3.VII in Game Royal/Varsity Maize-Black-White (available here).
PG put up 24 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and one block in Chris Paul’s sneakers to help the Pacers maul the Rockets with a 114-81 decision. As gaudy as the 33-point margin of victory appears, the game was actually way more out of hand for Houston, who at one point trailed Indy by 46.
With George commanding a max contract extension last summer and emerging as one of the league’s young superstars, is it time for Nike Basketball or Jordan Brand to step in with signature kicks for him?
Mull over the prospect of a Nike Air PG or Jordan Super.George as you peruse last night’s NBA Kicks action ahead…
