NBA Kicks: KD’s Streak Ends, The Thunder’s Extends

Thanks to Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Scott Brooks’s substitution call, Kevin Durant’s streak of 30 or more points stopped at 12 in Brooklyn last night. Turns out KD’s 26 in blue/orange Nike KD VIs was more than enough for the Thunder to extend their winning streak to 10 games by annihilating the Nets, 120-95. The win marks the latest check-off for the Thunder, who now lead Indiana by 1.5 games for best record in the NBA.

Out in Los Angeles, Nick Young continues to be Kobe for the Kobe-less Lakers, dropping in 21 points in yet another iteration of the Nike Kobe 8. Unfortunately, the wins aren’t happening like they might with with number 24. The purple and gold fell to the Bobcats, 110-100, for their sixth straight loss. The Lakers are 3-17 over their last 20 games.

Look for some nice selections ahead in NBA Kicks, with KD, Swaggy P, Marquis Teague acclimating to his new team in the adidas Rose 773 2, his brother Jeff sticking with his good old Crazy Light Lows, Tony Wroten’s Air Jordan 2 “Bulls Home,” Gerald Henderson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Victor Oladipo doing business in Air Jordan XX8 SE…

Are they real iD’s for KD, or PE’s posing as iD’s, because I don’t believe regular iD’s have that 2-color sole?

Loving the colorway, pretty similar to those leaked Elite’s 8-)
