In a fast paced shooting matchup with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, Gerald Green emerged the victor pouring in a career-high 41 points to help the surprising Phoenix Suns eclipse the Oklahoma City Thunder, 128-122, on Thursday night.
Reebok rep Green, with his seventh team in seven NBA seasons out of Gulf Shores Academy (TX), opted for the Shaq Attaq “Big Shaqtus” to do his duty, his shoe of choice this season alongside the Reebok Q96.
Durant donned black/orange Nike KD VIs for 34 points, while teammate Westbrook answered with 36 in new camo Air Jordan XX8 SEs. It just wasn’t enough to overcome the Suns’ Green-led offense that saw Goran Dragić put in 22 points, and twins Markieff and Marcus Morris combined for 39 points off the bench.
