The next generation of Nike Basketball was unveiled today as the Hyperdunk 2014, a continuation of the lightweight, cushioned series that began in 2008.
So, what’s Hyperdunk 2014 all about? A new configuration of Hyperfuse construction for a better ventilated experience. Flywire support included to pull things tight. And a Lunarlon foundation to keep the ride light and responsive.
At first glance you probably noticed that the HD ’14 isn’t rocket-propelled, intercooled, nor studded with diamonds. That’s because Nike Basketball focused on getting the performance right through 12 months of wear testing instead of shiny bells and whistles, sort of an ‘increments are leaps and bounds’ approach to design.
When can you get your pair of Nike Hyperdunk 2014? Starting Wednesday, July 16 at Nike.com and Nike Basketball retailers, that’s when.
