A new sneaker-based iPhone app is out right now called Kicktionary. The application does what the name suggests: Carry a comprehensive selection of sneakers divided into its major categories such as Jordan, Basketball, Running, and Miscellaneous, further broken down by shoe names and finally segmented into individual colorways for each shoe model. Kicktionary displays high-resolution images from every angle of each shoe, complimented by a backstory and technical breakdown. Swiping your finger across the image gallery allows you to scroll through various angles and rotating your iPhone sideways allows for a “full screen” mode to get a closer, in-depth look at each photo. The makers of Kicktionary tell us the app is always being updated to include new sneaker models and colorways with a full-fledged iPad version coming soon. You can find Kicktionary now in the iTunes store by clicking here. Continue reading for multiple screenshots from the Kicktionary iPhone app.
