Detailed images of Ray Allen’s All-Star Air Jordan 2010 PE are out. This sample was made for the Boston Celtics guard, who was not selected as a reserve for the 2010 NBA All-Star Game’s East team. The shoe is in Allen’s size 14, and features a solid navy blue leather/textile upper with a white/navy patterned sockliner and a white outsole. PF Flyers rounds out its retro releases with the Bob Cousy Hi, a faithful reproduction of the 1956 original. The retro will release in Black, White and Green, with the Green make-up recognizing Cousy’s former team – the Boston Celtics. This model features a hi-top canvas upper with a Gullwing Closure ankle wrap for additional support. Details include a vulcanized rubber midsole/outsole and “Bob Cousy P-F All-American” lateral ankle patch. Look for this model in the coming weeks. More info to come. The adidas Mad Speed III Boston Celtics White/Green make-up features a white leather upper with a green sockliner, green mesh tongue, and green laces. Green adidas 3-Stripes contour the lateral panels. The block lettered “CELTICS” script is stitched into the rear lateral heel panel, while the Celtics’ shamrock circle logo is seen at the heel. The PF Flyers Bob Cousy Lo will release this summer in six colorways: Red, Natural, Black, Navy, Light Grey, and Ivory. The shoe, which debuted in 1956 and was worn by famed Boston Celtics guard Bob Cousy, features a patented Gullwing Closure ankle wrap, a Posture Foundation insole, and vulcanized rubber midsole/outsole. The letters “PF” are molded into the midsole toe cap. The Cousy Lo will be available at Neiman Marcus department stores in the coming weeks. Retail is $70. Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant debuted his Nike Zoom Kobe V “Big Stage” make-up in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics. The White/Gold colorway, which we previewed here and here, features a white and gold upper with Bryant’s 2009-10 regular season statistics incorporated into the light print design that covers the shoe. Though Ray Allen did not play in the 2010 NBA All-Star Game, Jordan Brand created an All-Star-themed promotional sample of Air Jordan 2010 for the Boston Celtics guard. This size 14, White/Navy shoe features a white perforated leather upper with a navy leather forefoot wrap and heel, a navy tongue/vamp and a navy sockliner.
