Here is a first look at the Jordan CP3.IV. Shown here in a White/Black-Red colorway, the CP3.IV features a mid-cut silhouette with a leather/mesh upper and a modified I.P.S. outsole. A triangle pattern print on the medial/lateral panels and a perforation strip running from the tongue to the toe add detail. More info to come as it develops. With the inaugural World Basketball Festival taking place in New York City this week, there’s been a myriad of basketball personalities in town taking in the scene. Jordan Brand teammates Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul made their first stop in the Big Apple at Harlem’s House of Hoops by Foot Locker location.
CounterKicks asked the duo about their favorite sneakers growing up, what Dwyane thinks of the difference between running with Converse and Jordan Brand, a potential D-Wade signature shoe, and thoughts from Chris Paul on his signature shoe designer leaving Jordan Brand and who will take over the CP3 line. Images of the Jordan CP3.III Tribute in a “USA World Basketball Festival” colorway are out today. Created in recognition of the Nike World Basketball Festival, this White/Navy-Red shoe features a navy/red pattern similar to the Jordan Melo M6 Future Sole WBF colorway we covered yesterday. This pattern stands in for the standard elephant print overlays. Navy and red trim/accents complete the look. Available now at House of Hoops. New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul’s third signature shoe takes on the styling cues of the Air Jordan III with elephant print overlays, AJ III lacing system, and a Jumpman-adorned heel counter. The shoe’s synthetic/leather/mesh upper is accented by a honeycomb-patterned traction outsole. Release info to come. Stay tuned. Images of a new Jordan CP.III Tribute have surfaced. New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul‘s third signature shoe, this Grey/Black edition features a grey-based upper with dark toe and elephant print overlays. A black tongue and laces, as well as red touches, add contrast. A black midsole blends into a white/black honeycomb-patterned outsole. More info to come. Stay tuned.
