The launch of a new House of Hoops location is taking place next Wednesday, September 1st. Opening on State Street in Chicago, IL, festivities will run from 5-7PM with a special appearance by Carlos Boozer of the Chicago Bulls.

With the inaugural World Basketball Festival taking place in New York City this week, there’s been a myriad of basketball personalities in town taking in the scene. Nike Air Force 1 Low – “Hamptons”

The Nike Air Force 1 Low ”Hamptons” will release on Saturday, July 10th as a quickstrike to House of Hoops stores. The all-white leather shoe features an “H” emblem on the tongue, and a translucent outsole revealing a map of Long Island, New York, where the Hamptons is located on the east end. Nike continues its USA-themed releases with the Zoom Hyperfuse in White/Obsidian-Sport Red. The shoe features a white synthetic/mesh upper base with an obsidian blue ankle collar and midsole, and a red sockliner. Zoom Air handles cushioning. Here’s a look at the Nike Zoom KD II “Scoring Title”. The Blue/Black/Orange/White shoe celebrates Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant’s 2009-10 NBA scoring title. The upper is blue leather atop a black and white midsole/outsole combination. Personalized touches include Durant’s jersey number 35 on the midfoot strap, his 2009-10 point total printed on the collar lining, a tongue badge/sockliner shout to Durant’s teammates, and a 2-horse sockliner graphic referencing Durant’s All-Star Weekend H.O.R.S.E. competition wins. This shoe releases in limited numbers on Monday, June 28th at House of Hoops stores in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, and Dallas.
