On July 10th, 2010, Sole Fly Sneaker Boutique made its grand opening. The Miami, FL based shop featured a major lineup of guests joining in on the festivities including Michael Jordan, Tim Hardaway, Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, and Charles Oakley. Featuring live music, giveaway raffles, an MJ-autographed Silver Anniversary Air Jordan collection, and plenty of fresh kicks in stock, we sent CK Miami correspondent Precious Hannah to give us an inside look at Sole Fly and share her personal experience and photos of the boutique’s launch day. In this video shot by Inside The Sneaker Box, we get an early preview of the store layout and sneaker stock ahead of the boutique’s grand opening festivities on Saturday, July 10th. Photos have surfaced today in the Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Heroes” Pack inspired by one of LeBron James‘ childhood heroes, Michael Jordan, and features elements of the Air Jordan XI. The shoe, in Black/White/Varsity Red, combines a black upper and patent leather rand with round laces, a translucent red outsole and graphical resemblance to the traction pattern of the Air Jordan XI underfoot. The latest Air Jordan VI Retro images to leak onto the ‘Net is this Black/Yellow/Purple colorway currently being dubbed the “Lakers” edition because of the color detailing and the fact that Michael Jordan won his first NBA Championship against the L.A. Lakers. The shoe features a black body base with prominent 3M reflective upper paneling and “Lakers” purple and gold contrast stitching throughout the shoe.
