Nike Air Max 90 – World Exposition Shanghai

Nike’s latest Air Max 90 is inspired by the World Expo, which is currently being held in Shanghai, China from May 1st to October 31st. Taking design cues from Shanghai’s China Pavilion, this Red/White-Black colorway features a red leather/mesh upper with a white structure-like design printed on the mudguard and ankle collar. A white midsole/black outsole, black accents, and a black/red/blue/green/yellow insole complete the theme. This shoe is currently available as an Asia-only exclusive. The Tinker Hatfield-designed Nike Air Max 90 in “Infrared” is making another return this summer. The White/Cement/Infrared/Black colorway features a visible air unit at the heel along with a multi-lace port system on top for customizable wearability. Ben Drury x Nike Air Max 90 Current

When Ben Drury first teased sneakerheads back in April, it seemed that his next project would be what looked like an Air Max Current boot. Today, we now see that the metal hook eyelet was just a cosmetic element added to his Air Max 90 Current model. Boot laces are added as well to compliment the mesh toebox and perforated suede near the rear of the shoe.
