The Nike Air Penny 3 comes dressed in a special make-up colorway exclusive to House of Hoops this weekend. The Black/Metallic Silver shoe features a black base with silver colored medial and lateral sidewall wraps and silver interior and accenting. Official release is this Sunday, May 16th. An early release of the Nike Air Penny III in White/Varsity Red-Black was launched on NikeStore.com earlier today. After selling through most sizes, the product was removed from the site and is expected to return near the end of the month. The shoe features the same colorblocking as the original White/Royal colorway and will be officially rolling out at Nike retail accounts in the coming week. Last year, Nike released the Air Penny 3 in the original Black/Royal and White/Royal colorways. On April 23rd of this year, a previously unreleased White/Varsity Red/Black style will hit retail nationwide. The shoe features the same basic colorblocking as the OG White/Royal version swapped out now with Varsity Red highlights on the mock “Foamposite” sidewall wrap and rubber pieces on the midsole.
