CounterKicks Previews Evan Turner’s All-Star Shoe

Here’s an exclusive detailed preview look at Evan Turner’s Li-Ning BRASSMONKEY “All-Star” shoe which will debut on court next month in Los Angeles.

This 2011 “All-Star” special make-up features a silver upper, black midsole and detail contrasting, and white laces and outsole to complete the package.

The “BRASSMONKEY” name was inspired by the 1987 Beastie Boys song title from the classic “Licensed to Ill” album.

Evan Turner will officially unveil the Li-Ning BRASSMONKEY at the 2011 NBA All Star Rookie Challenge and continue to wear the shoe to finish out the second half of the NBA season. BRASSMONKEY will soon be available at Li-Ning’s retail showroom in Portland, Li-NingUSA.com, and Eastbay.
