Derrick Rose poured in 33 points but missed a potential game-winning shot at the final buzzer, allowing the Charlotte Bobcats to escape the United Center with an 83-82 win. Rose has been wearing the Running White/Black/Red adidas adiZero Rose for home games. He’s expected to transition to the adiZero Rose 1.5 for the second half of the season.
Gerald Wallace led the Bobcats with 13 points and 16 rebounds in the Air Jordan 13 Retro “Flint”, following teammate Tyrus Thomas’ kicks lead.
Down in Miami, LeBron James returned from his ankle tweak to put up 34 points, 10 boards, 7 assists and 2 steals but the Atlanta Hawks grabbed a 93-89 win anyway. Atlanta’s Joe Johnson went back to the Jordan Pure J to spearhead the Hawks attack with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Johnson had been rolling with the “Carmine” Jordan 6-17-23. Teammate Mike Bibby has been on a CP3 kick recently and wore a Black/Red edition of the Jordan CP3.III Tribute.
