Gilbert Arenas is a fire dancer. A stunt man. A risk taker. He plays the game at its highest level and takes no prisoners. He sacrifices everything for the game he loves, even to the point of throwing himself into the middle of chaos. He’ll do anything to win, even if it means wearing shoes not meant for playing basketball in.
After last night, it’s quite clear: Gilbert Arenas doesn’t care about his ankles.
Earlier this season we saw Gilbert play in the Jordan CMFT Max Air 12, and then we saw him fall out of the shoe. In last night’s 99-90 road loss to the Bulls, Gilbert returned to the CMFT Max Air 12, this time choosing the Black/Fresh Water-Midnight Fog colorway. He managed to add 11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block in 32 minutes of suspense.
Gilbert saw fear and punched it in the face. But will he make it out unscathed next time he wears non-basketball shoes for basketball?
