Grinnin’ and winnin’.
After getting slapped across the face by Memphis in Game 1, the Thunder shook off the emasculation and got back into the series with a 111-102 win last night. OKC was again led by Kevin Durant (Nike Zoom KD III) and Russell Westbrook (Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011) who scored 26 and 24, respectively. James Harden (Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Low) chipped in 21 bench points. Memphis got 24 from Mike Conley (adidas adiZero Crazy Light) but only 15 from the usually dominant Zach Randolph (Nike Air Max Fly By). Tied 1-1, the series resumes Saturday in Elvis’s backyard.
The Heat raced past the suddenly impotent Celtics, grabbing a 102-91 win and a 2-0 series lead. LeBron James (Nike LeBron 8 P.S.) took control this time with 35, while Dwyane Wade (Jordan Fly Wade) shotgunned 28 points. Rajon Rondo laced up his Grey/Green Nike Zoom Kobe VI‘s again, notching 20 points and 12 assists but the Celts got little help elsewhere. The C’s will try not to completely fold when they get home for Game 3 Saturday.
