With the retro Griffey line helping lead Nike Training to huge sales gains at retail and lots of sneakerhead nostalgia, it seems only logical the brand would take the next step and create a new Ken Griffey Jr. based hybrid product to further fuel the fire. They did. It’s called the Nike Air Max Griffey Fury.

Nike Air Max Griffey Fury features a mesh and synthetic upper, Cushlon midsole, and 360 Max Air cushioning unit. Griffey’s famous jersey number “24″ appears on the lateral ankles. Air Max Griffey Fury releases Spring 2012. Retail is $170.
