Just not working.
After the Thunder tied their series with the Mavs, the prospect of two home games in front of a riotous OKC crowd looked promising. Now it just looks embarrassing. Dallas ran up a 27-12 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, eventually closing the door on Game 3 with a 93-87 win and 2-1 series lead. The Mavs’ 52-36 halftime margin was enough to make KD change out of his “Scoring Title” Home Nike Zoom KD III‘s into his White/Blue/Orange “Playoff” edition. Durant finished with 24, 12, 5, 2 and 2, while Russell Westbrook (Nike Zoom Hyperfuse) put in 30. For Dallas, Dirk did a modest 18 in his Nike Hyperdunk 2010‘s, Shawn Marion also went for 18 in his Nike Air Max Fly By‘s, and Jason Kidd stamped 13, 6, 8 and 4 in PEAK Kidd III‘s. We’ll see if OKC can once again get back into the series or fade away in Game 4 Monday.
