Bright times ahead.
On a rainy Wednesday in New York City last week, Reebok held their Fall 2011 editors preview in a suite at the Empire Hotel. There was an emphasis on all their major lines: Classics, ZigTech and Easy Tone. Also on display were John Wall’s new ZigEncore signature basketball shoes which we were told are still being tweaked before they land on the market. Look for a special John Wall logo and soon be unveiled Wall Season 2: ZigEncore in the new Wizards red, white and blue team colors, though! The other big story of the fall preview was the Reebok Kamikaze refresh, part of the Classics’ line overseen by Swizz Beats. Available in multiple versions for the fall, incuding a women’s and kids edition.
The Reebok Classics umbrella also encompasses the Emporio Armani collection – Reebok’s answer to adidas Y-3 and Silver. The apparel offerings also kept up with the Classics use of the oversized retro “R” as well as ZigTech branding on work out and casual gear.
Reebok’s Fall 2011 color story itself was bright and often neon – like the designers colored in all renderings with highlighters. Enjoy the 54 photos I snapped just for you ahead…
