Derrick Rose and his traveling buddy adidas adiZero Rose 2.0 are in China this week, meeting and greeting fans on a promotional tour for adidas Basketball. Their latest stop was Guangzhou, a metropolis at the southern coast of China, whose basketball fever and Derrick Rose fandom burns as hot as that of any hub or enclave countrywide. Rose put on a clinic at the multi-purpose Guangdong Sports Stadium in front of more than 1,000 fans, imparting some skills to the audience in his red Rose 2.0 “Christmas” edition. But the day’s duties extended beyond drills. Rose emceed the adidas Summer League South Conference Final and handed out MVP trophies to the top players of the tournament.
