Dennis Rodman’s Shake evolves.
Another Dennis Rodman signature shoe gets a twist next year. Here’s a first look at the Nike Air Max Shake Evolve.
Previewed in four Summer 2012 colorways:
– Anthracite/Stealth/White/Anthracite
– Stealth/Dark Grey/White/Stealth
– White/Stealth/Dark Grey/White
– Black/Dark Grey/Varsity Red/Black
As part of the traveling circus that was the Chicago Bulls in the latter half of the 90′s, Dennis Rodman made the Nike Air Shake Ndestrukt one of his signature sneaker looks. The shoe featured a unique medial side lacing system and upper rand that complimented teammate Michael Jordan‘s Air Jordan XI at the time.
In this new hybrid shoe, the basic upper of the Air Shake Ndestrukt gets partnered with new tooling in a 180 Max Air unit bottom and Ndestrukt-inspired outsole pattern. The combination gets you the Nike Air Max Shake Evolve. Not to be outdone, the Swoosh is also rolling out another Rodman hybrid of the Air Darwin in next year’s Air Max Darwin 360.
Air Max Shake Evolve launches in 2012 with a $145 price point.
