It was announced earlier this year that three college teams signed on to sport LeBron James-branded Nike uniforms for the coming season. Here’s a detailed look at the custom Nike LeBron 9 team colorway kicks they’ll be wearing:
– LeBron 9 “Miami Hurricanes” (White/White/Gorge Green/Total Orange)
– LeBron 9 “Kentucky Wildcats” (Varsity Royal/White/Black)
– LeBron 9 “Ohio State Buckeyes” (Sport Red/White/Wolf Grey)
All three shoes will debut on the feet of their respective basketball team to kick off the new 2011-12 season on October 15, but that doesn’t mean you, the public, won’t have access to these special makeup colors.
Nike is releasing presumably limited runs of the university pack LeBron 9′s at retail starting with Kentucky on October 15, followed by OSU’s on November 15, then capping off with Miami on November 29. The standard launch version LeBron 9 in Black/Red/White makes an official debut on October 25.
