What happens when the Nike Kobe VII “Attack Fast” goes up against its “Attack Strong” counterpart? Is it winner take all a la Bartertown?
Nah. This isn’t exactly Mad Max and Blaster fighting to the death in Thunderdome as a delighted Tina Turner watches.
But we do know that Amir Johnson chose “Strong”, Hakim Warrick chose “Fast” and that the results of which shoe comes out on top are inconclusive. On one hand, Warrick’s 17 points to Johnson’s 5 suggests “Fast” won the day. Yet on the other hand if you take away Johnson’s 5 points, the Raptors’ 99-96 win becomes a 96-94 Suns victory, indicating a “Strong” presence means triumph.
This much we do know: both shoes were Nike iD’d like crazy – Warrick going for a black and purple look while Johnson went black and red. The #KobeSystem battle that Kobe himself launched rages on.
Watch for these kicks as well as Tyrus Thomas reviving his Flint 13‘s, Paul George carrying the Zoom Brave V torch, Nolan Smith joining the Crazy Light revolution, George Hill Soldier-ing again and more…
