    Steve loved the 99X series.

Apple icon Steve Jobs is gone but his legacy of professional genius and paint-by-numbers personal style will never fade. This latest SJ action figure really, really helps bolster that claim.

It stands 12 inches (1:6 scale) and not only gets every facial feature and sparse hair correct but replicates Jobs’ famous wardrobe/uniform with amazing accuracy. Issey Miyake black turtleneck? Check. Levi’s 501′s? Check. Grey New Balance 992‘s that you can take off and put back on? Check.

Aside from the stark black turtleneck, Steve’s outfit was widely noted for his grey New Balance’s. He was a longtime fan of the 99X line, latching onto the 990 back in the late ’90s and continuing with the 991, 992 and, to a lesser extent, 993 as they released over the years.

But the 992 was his favorite, the shoe he wore constantly after 2006 and well after they were discontinued in 2008. So it’s very apropos that it was chosen to definitively rep Steve’s feet in figurine form.

The foot tall Steve by in icons and DiD is set to release in late February for $100.
