Salute.
The Clippers made their lone season visit to the nation’s capital last night and got an easy expected win over the Wiz, 107-81. With the game in hand – the Clips never trailed – what else was there to be entertained by, to get amusement from. Ah, shoes! Chris Paul’s shoes to be exact.
Adding yet another colorway to the pile, CP broke out a patriotic pair of Jordan CP3.V in black, red and blue but managed just 2 points, 3 boards, 7 assists, and 3 steals in 28 minutes. But the quiet stats weren’t important. Not when your team wins by 26. Especially not when you debut a new colorway of your signature.
Out in the big SLC, Kobe tried to “Attack Strong” in Kobe VII‘s for 26 but the Jazz got the win. Monta and the Golden crew traveled to Sacramento where he put up 18 in Spacejams and Nate added 20 bench points in Playoff 13‘s but the Kings prevailed in OT. That was due in no small part to Jason Thompson’s double-double of 15 and 16 in his Nike Air Max Sweep Thru PE’s.
Watch for these kicks along with D Rose running in red 2.5′s, Paul George bringing Chicago to Indy, Jordan Crawford committing Cardinals again, Josh Smith adiZero Shadow-ing the Sixers, C.J. Miles hitting up Nike iD again for some KD III’s, and more ahead…
