Denver came into OKC yesterday ready to battle KD and crew, not necessarily expecting to have three flicks in one at play as the game unfolded into overtime. It was there that Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka provided the twist ending. Durant finished with a career high 51 points in his “Home” KD IV, Russy added 40 in his Hyperfuse 2011 OKC PE and Serge recorded a trip-dub of 14 points, 15 boards, and 11 blocks in his adiZero Shadow OKC PE. It’s the first time in NBA history that a 50 point/40 point/triple-double single game performance by teammates has happened. OKC won 124-118 in OT. The Nuggets are grateful they could help this effort.
Jeremy Lin got the Knicks back on track with a 104-97 comeback win over the visiting Mavs. Lin put in 28 points with a career high 14 assists, and new teammate J.R. Smith gunned off the bench for 15. Both were wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low. At this rate, any player looking to change his career in unbelievable ways is going to have to lace up ‘Fuse ’11 Lows in Knicks colors. It’s becoming the sneaker equivalent of the Wolf Shirt.
