It was another slip-away game for the Celtics, only this time their season was hitched to it. No Ray. No Rondo. No home court advantage. No one playing very well. There was only one man for this brink job. The Captain. Paul Pierce. P2 lifted the C’s in the second half with jumper after drive after jumper, netting 36 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists,a 1-1 split going back to TD Garden, and the lofty praise by C’s fans as one of the great all-time Celtics playoff perf’s. And he did it in the Nike Air Legacy 3, a shoe you can only get if you’re Paul himself or have kid-sized feet.
NBA Kicks is grab-bag style today, with a mix of kicks action from Monday’s and Tuesday’s playoff matches. Instead of describing what’s ahead, stick your hand in and see what you pull out. Or click through. That works, too.
