Two things we learned from Game 2 of the 2012 NBA Finals. One, OKC’s patented runs aren’t fool-proof. And two, if there was any doubt left that the Heat are LeBron’s team, he snuffed it last night like a cigarette butt. LeBron turned in another huge game, scoring 32 — including a super clutch bank shot with time dwindling — to stave off the Thunder. Final: 100-96; series tied 1-1. Dwyane Wade absorbed all the post Game 1 he’s-a-little-washed-up talk and channeled it into an upped Game 2 performance, pouring in 24 on 10-20 shooting. KD continued construction on his legacy, scoring 32 points with some bomb three-pointers thrown in for good measure. He almost singlehandedly beat Miami. Westbrook was equally brilliant with 27, 8 and 7 despite some cringe-worthy shot chucking. As for the shoes, there was a lot of black and gold in Game 2. Almost exclusively black and gold.
