Comic-Con is not a sneaker summit. Yet these Fila “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” shoes appeared at the San Diego event, decked out in the colors of the world’s most famous reptiles. First up, the Fila FX-100 in turtle green leather and ballistic mesh. The display features an ankle strap for each member of the gang — Blue for Leonardo, Orange for Michelangelo, Purple for Donatello, and Red for Raphael — and a turtle shell logo stitched into the rear collar. The Fila The Cage model goes with a grey/purple/silver look fashioned by TMNT villain Shredder. The cage at the heel is nice representation of Shred’s vented mask from the live action Turtle flicks of ’90 and ’91. Per the info cards accompanying these kicks, we can expect some type of limited TMNT Fila release around year’s end. Thanks to CounterKicks reader J.N. for tipping us with the photos.
